Children's Church & Nursery
We have two age groups (4yrs - 6th grade) of children's church classes during our Sunday morning service (10:30am) that start right before the sermon. Raeann Hedgpeth leads the younger group, and Rick Myers leads the older group. We have age-appropriate Bible lessons and play games that teach about Jesus and the plan of salvation.
Nursery is available for ages 0-3 yrs during Sunday School (9:30am) and during Sunday morning worship (10:30am).
We also have nursery on Wednesday evenings during youth & adult Bible studies (7:00pm).
Elevate Kids
Elevate Kids is a fast paced, highly active children’s program that serves children ages 4 yrs through 6th grade. It offers creative teaching through fun characters, games, age-appropriate discipleship activities & kids worship music. Our church family meal begins at 6pm every Wednesday. Elevate Kids follows at 6:40pm. If you need a ride on the church bus, call the church by 2pm on Wednesdays. Bus Permission Form
VBS 2024 Breaker Rock Beach
Bethel's VBS 2024-Breaker Rock Beach will be held June 2-6. Sunday we begin with registration and light meal for workers & kids at 4:30pm, and Worship Rally starts at 5pm. Monday thru Wednesday we begin with a light meal at 5:30pm for workers & kids, and Worship Rally starts at 6pm. VBS wraps up at 8:45pm each evening. Thursday is Family Night at 6pm with refreshments to follow. Parents, grandparents & friends are all invited to attend! VBS is for children ages 3 yrs (must be potty trained) through 6th grade (completed). The church bus will run in Vandalia each evening. If your child needs a ride, call the church (618-326-7451) each day by 2pm. Print registration and bus permission forms below.
CentriKid Camps
From Morning Worship to Bible Study, Recreation to Track Times, everything at CentriKid is designed with the heart of a child in mind. CentriKid ensures that God’s Word is the focus of every part of camp, including the fun stuff. Camp gives leaders & kids a place to interact and bond—meals, free time, and worship. Bethel Children's Ministry takes kids to CentriKid Camp in Campbellsville, Kentucky, every summer. This summer camp is for grades 2nd-6th (completed).
